2011 Stories of Generosity
I stopped at the local pet store where
I buy my dog's food and asked for a
donation. They went to the website, saw
I was "legit" and then proceeded to filled
up my trunk with food (albeit I have a
small car, but it is lots of food!). I am touched
by the generosity of strangers. He didn't
want any public acknowledgement. His
generosity brought tears to my eyes.

I heard someone come into my office
lobby but was busy with a client.
When I had a moment to go see who it
was the person was no longer there
but they left over 50 lbs worth of dog/cat
food and treats! It was an incredible surprise!

to use his go-karting event on December 6,
2011 as an opportunity to collect donations
for Presents for Paws. Their “puh-lease”
puppy dog eyes resulted in the collection
of over 40 lbs of food and lots of goodies!
More puppy dog eyes resulted in a raffle
drawing for everyone who donated, with the
winner receiving a free meal at Chili's after the
event. Izzy & Bella felt this was appropriate
compensation since they were not allowed to
co-pilot any of the karts.
